HSE Graduate School of Urbanism and the Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia are launching a joint project the V.D.N.H. Laboratory of the Future workshop, resulting in works to be presented inside the Russian Pavilion during the 15th Architecture Venice Biennale, curated by the Chief Architect of Moscow Sergey Kuznetsov.
The Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia will take part to the 15th Venice Biennale, titled Reporting From the Front and curated by Alejandro Aravena, with an interactive installation made in collaboration with the Indian architect Anupama Kundoo.
Spirulina is a blue-green microalgae that has been pointed as one of the best foods in the world by the United Nations. In this workshop, the participants will be introduced to the microcosm of Spirulina and the parameters for its growth. The objective of the workshop is to familiarize yourself with Spirulina cultivation methods and introduce sensors in order to run your own monitoring test kit, from June 04 to June 05.
Biology Zero is a 10-day bootcamp held at the Green Fab Lab, IAAC’s rural campus. It offers an immersive study into the basics of biology, delivering knowledge of methodology and the instruments needed to become a citizen scientist.

A team formed by the study Isern associats, Ceramica Cumella and the Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia (IAAC) has built a musical robotic facade made with a robot that translates Max Richter’s music in lines on ceramics.
This exhibition is a collaboration between the IAAC and the Cercle Artístic de Sant Lluc curated by Edouard Cabay. It features projects initiated as an investigation at the Master in Advanced Architecture of the IAAC in fall 2015 by Edouard Cabay and Rodrigo Aguirre.
