As part of the launch of the new Master in Advanced Ecological Buildings (MAEB), IAAC is organising a symposium around the theme of Advanced Ecological Buildings.

The gathering will take place on April 25th at Valldaura Self-sufficient Labs, IAAC campus in the Collserola’s Natural Park, from 10 am to 5 pm, in the location where the new immersive educational programme will take place.

The speakers will be the experts being part of MAEB’s Faculty Marta Domènech, Mariana Palumbo, Ignasi Caus, Oscar Aceves, Guillermo Sevillano, Elena Orte, Javier García-Germán, Jochen Schreer and Ali Basbous. All of them will gather at the symposium to discuss about Ecology, Architecture, Thermodynamics and Construction techniques as well as other aspects related to the ecological buildings of the future.

The aim of the congress is to create a meeting place for MAEB Faculty to meet and exchange ideas as well as to foster collaborations in educational and development projects that may arise. Each speaker will have thirty minutes to make a presentation of their field of work.

On the same day at 19:30 at IAAC, we will also have the presentation of the book Wood Urbanism: From the Molecular to the Territorial authored by the Master’s Co-Director Daniel Ibañez.
