Live Knowledge – IAAC at the 15th Venice Biennale
The Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia will take part to the 15th Venice Biennale, titled Reporting From the Front and curated by Alejandro Aravena, with an interactive installation made in collaboration with the Indian architect Anupama Kundoo.

Winy Maas is an architect, urban designer and landscape architect and one of the co-founding directors of the globally operating architecture and urban planning firm MVRDV, based in Rotterdam, Netherlands, known for projects such as the Expo 2000, the vision for greater Paris, Grand Paris Plus Petit, and more recently the Market Hall in Rotterdam.
Carlos + Borja Ferrater > Spring Lecture Series 2016
Carlos Ferrater is a Doctor of Architecture, a Professor at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia, Barcelona. In 2006 he set up, along with Xavier Martí, Lucía Ferrater and Borja Ferrater, the Office of Architecture in Barcelona. Borja Ferrater is an architect from the International University of Catalonia. In parallel to his practice in OAB, Borja is currently Design Studio Teacher at the ESARQ UIC.
Bernard Khoury > Spring Lecture Series 2016
Bernard Khoury studied Architecture at the Rhode Island School of Design and received a Master in Architectural Studies from Harvard University. Khoury started his independent practice Bernard Khoury / DW5 in 1993. Over the past fifteen years, the office has developed an international reputation and a significant diverse portfolio of projects. Khoury is also co-founder of the Arab Center for Architecture.

Ricardo O’Nascimento is an artist and researcher on the field of new media and interactive art. He investigates body-environment relations focused on interface development for worn devices, interactive installations and hybrid environments. He is the founder of POPKALAB – a design/research studio focused on innovation on the field of wearable technology.
