Toni Torrente Is the Head of the Laboratory of Virtual Visualization in Eurecat’s Multimedia Technologies Unit, where manages and develops interactive projects since 2008 related to Real Time data visualization systems, and data integration over different visualization platforms. (Urban planning models, self-learning and simulation tools for industrial processes, Augmented, Mixed and Virtual Reality).

Before joining Eurecat he developed Automotive, Industrial and Heritage Virtual Reality projects as a Team Leader at the Virtual Reality Center (CRV) of the Politechnical University of Catalonia (UPC) and T-Systems. He also researches methodologies and interactive simulation systems applied to industrial, medical and geolocated data.
