The official opening of the Barcelona Architecture Week will take place next May 9th. On that date, in the exceptional setting of the IAAC Valldaura Labs, the Pritzker Prize Carme Pigem of RCR Arquitectes will give an open lecture presenting the most representative works of her career.
Aranda, Pigem and Vilalta founded the practice RCR Arquitectes in 1988. Their works range from public and private spaces to cultural venues and educational institutions, and their ability to intensely relate the environment specific to each site is a testament to their process and deep integrity.

The lecture is free and open to the public. The 3,00 € ticket covers the cost of the transportation from the Valldaura Metro Station to the Valldaura Labs. The Valldaura Labs are located in the Natural Park of Collserola: we kindly ask those attending the lecture to take advantage of the bus service and avoid the use of private vehicles.
The attendants are asked to take the green metro line and arrive to the Valldaura Metro Station. Click here for the Google map.
The bus to the Valldaura Labs will leave at 18:00 from the parking situated at 230 mt from the metro station, at the roundabout between Paseo de Valldaura and Avenida Estatut de Catalunya. Click here for the Google map.
After the lecture, the bus will leave the Valldaura Labs at 20:45 and bring the attendands back to the roundabout.

La inauguració oficial de la Barcelona Architecture Week tindrà lloc el proper 9 de maig. En aquesta data, en l’excepcional escenari de l’IAAC Valldaura Labs, el premi Pritzker Carme Pigem de RCR Arquitectes donarà una conferència oberta que presentarà les obres més representatives de la seva carrera.
Aranda, Pigem i Vilalta van fundar la pràctica RCR Arquitectes el 1988. Les seves obres van des dels espais públics i privats fins a llocs culturals i institucions educatives, i la seva capacitat de relacionar intensament l’entorn específic de cada lloc és un testimoni del seu procés i la seva profunda integritat.

La conferència és gratuïta i oberta al públic. El bitllet de 3,00 € cobreix el cost del transport de l’estació de metro de Valldaura als Valldaura Labs. Els Valldaura Labs es troben al Parc Natural de Collserola: demanem als assistents que aprofitin el servei d’autobusos i evitin l’ús de vehicles privats.
