Poblenou Urban District Open Day 2017 was a real success at IAAC! Last Saturday 6th of May our Faculty and staff members were glad to show the Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia and FabLab Barcelona to all people who visited us in Poblenou district.

More than 800 people came and saw our facilities while enjoying a wide range of demos on robotic manufacturing, 3D printing and digital fabrication. Many of them also attended one of the guided tours offered every half and hour and  glanced around at the several stands displayed with information about our masters, courses and workshops. People fascinated and intrigued by IAAC’s work also stopped by some of the information points spread over the building in order to learn more about innovative projects and initiatives such as Fab Market, FabLab Kids, Aquapioneers, Making Sense or Open Source Beehives.
