Frederic Lloveras is a Civil Engineer graduated at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (2006). He made the final thesis at the Center of Traffic and Transportation of the DTU (Technical University of Denmark).
He works at MCRIT since 2006 as traffic engineer expert in traffic micro-simulation, gathering traffic supply and demand data. During this period he has carried out several forecasting demand projects for large transport infrastructures in either public or private transportation systems.
He has developed several models to study the introduction of a tram in the Diagonal avenue in Barcelona, analyze road intersections capacity, implement dynamic speed policies or sizing lift stations in new metro stations. At an urban scale, he has been involved in several Mobility Plans with diverse Catalonian municipalities.
He also developed studies such as the Transverse Rail Line and the Orbital Rail Line, Ronda Valles and Ronda Maresme highways and road and rail tunnels to access Barcelona. He has worked for several clients such as ATM, Planning Department of Generalitat de Catalunya, Ifercat, GISA, RACC, ACESA, Catalonia Airports, Barcelona Chamber of Commerce, etc.)
