The Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia (IAAC) is a center for research, education, production and outreach. We give the next generation of architects and changemakers the space to imagine, test and shape the future of cities, architecture and technology.

We are currently searching for an​ Applications Coordinator to join our Marketing & Communications Team.

The role will be focused on maturing prospects into students via email communication, video calls and general application assistance.

Roles and Responsibilities

–  Being the first point of contact with potential students.
– Working with the student/prospect database (Salesforce).
– Manage the application process from beginning to end.
– Communicating with prospects with a view to convert leads into applications.
– Giving advice to students regarding visa requirements and the enrolment process.
– Preparing acceptance letters/welcome packages for students.
– Working closely with the academic coordinators to facilitate student interviews.
– Replying to requests for information about our educational programmes.
– Setting up video calls and holding virtual tours of IAAC’s facilities.
– Working with the admissions team to drive enrolments.

Requirements

Skills And Qualifications:

– Friendly and positive team player who works well in a multicultural institute.
– Very organized and able to work with deadlines in a high pressure environment.
– Previous experience in administration at a University (preferable).
– Results-driven and not afraid to pick up the phone.
– Passionate about education and the recruitment industry.
– Excellent communication skills.
– Curious and able to multitask.
– Proficient levels of English and Spanish (both written and spoken)
