Introduction

VR Unreal is a five-day intensive course that will teach the participants with a predefined work flow how to achieve and produce in minimum time stunning Virtual Reality Content with already existing 3d Assets. This workshop will give you an introduction into the VR content creation and make it possible to adapt this work flow to your already existing professional pipeline.

Brief

This workshop is designed especially for real estate developers, architects and industrial designers who want to show their products to clients in VR. We will use state of art technology and software like the new VR headset of HTC VIVE and Maya 2016, Unreal Engine 4 to develop the content.

With Maya 2016 we will prepare our assets including a short introduction into UV layout and show how to export our models.

A brief fly over of the new Qixel Suite 2, latest texture creation software comes in handy to create super realistic textures for our final scene.

And last but not least Unreal Engine 4, Unreal Engine 4 is a complete suite of game development tools made by game developers, for game developers. From 2D mobile games to console blockbusters, Unreal Engine 4 gives you everything you need to start, ship, grow and stand out from the crowd.

Participants will learn how to import 3D models into the Unreal Engine, creating and assigning basic materials, setting up scenes and environments, rendering, animation, post production, walk troughs and cooking VR content.

With accomplishing this instructional workshop, professionals have a good base to apply VR into their daily work flow.
