The New European Bauhaus Festival will take place in Brussels, Belgium from the 9th to 12th of June. This fair showcases current and future projects addressing beauty, sustainability and togetherness. We are happy to announce that three projects developed by IAAC were selected out of more than 300 proposals as part of the lineup of 40 projects of the fair.
The prototypes being displayed, developed by the IAAC Advanced Architecture Group (AAG) directed by Areti Markopoulou, are:
Superbarrio is a video game for smartphones and tablets that architects and public bodies can use to engage citizens in the design of public spaces, allowing them to visualise their interventions.

CO-mida combines nature-based solutions with robotic 3D printing technology and parametric design softwares, to create an automated green wall aimed at growing food and producing energy.

The 3D Printed Ecological House was built using 100% natural and locally sourced materials such as stone, earth and wood in the Collserola Park of Barcelona.
The project was developed by IAAC students during the 3DPA Postgraduate Programme, together with the IAAC AAG Staff: Alexandre Dubor, Edouard Cabay, Francesco Polvi, Ashkan Foroughi, Vincent Huyghe, Marielena Papandreou, Eduardo Chamorro, Bruno Ganem Coutinho, Nikol Kirova, Elisabetta Carnevale, Lili Tayefi.
