This 10th edition of IAAC Global Summer School 2017 (GSS17) has been a great success! More than 140 students distributed in several nodes worldwide such as MoscowBarcelona, Tehran, Beirut, Monterrey and Beijing have had the opportunity to learn more about advanced urban technologies and space dynamics as essential means for city change.

Students participating at the GSS17 program defined strategies for the applications of Advanced Urban Technologies for space dynamics in urban habitats. By testing the combination of software and hardware students have been exploring real-time data capture, parametric design modelling, interactive design, prototyping with digital fabrication tools, testing material adaptability, real-time management of time-uses and citizen-space interaction.

These 6 cities enjoyed two weeks of seminars, workshops and an intense team work with outstanding final presentations. Nevertheless, the GSS17 has not finished yet since the programme it still ongoing in Muscat (Oman) node, which is getting immersed in this great cutting-edge learning experience until the 27th of July.
