The IAAC Global Summer School programme (GSS) is glad to invite you to join the fist GSS live Debate. It’s an informal discussion around the opportunities of digital design paradigms towards a multi-scalar decision making framework integrating material properties, performative simulations, manufacturing protocols and ecological implications.

Over the years, the IAAC Global Summer School offers different GSS lectures series held by professionals and experts in design, architecture, robotics, simulation, physical computing, digital fabrication and in other disciplines. During the course of the Global lectures, specific emphasis is placed on understanding the implications of design on advanced urbanism and technology to create new perspectives and improve critical research for our digitally connecting cities to develop a more sustainable urban culture.

The debate consists in an online one-hour event, gathering a panel of experts from design and computation and taking place online on Wednesday 8th of July from 15.00 to 16.15 (CEST) and live streamed on Facebook.
