The digital revolution, combined with the unforeseen environmental, economic, and social challenges that our world and cities are currently confronting, necessitates a reevaluation of the practices of urban design and planning. It urges us to question many of the traditions and foundations upon which these practices have relied in the past decades. We firmly believe that by bringing together urbanists, architects, engineers, computer scientists, and technologists, training them in the same arena, we unlock the potential to bring a radical transformation in the urban environment.
