FabLab Barcelona at IAAC hosts a 3rd edition of MIDTalent programme, an opportunity for unemployed young people to learn and develop new skills in the field of design and new technologies. During the second week of February, from Monday 5th to Saturday 10th, a series of sessions related to Fab City Global Initiative will be organised in our facilities, where projects will be devised, developed and eventually presented before a jury.
The third edition of the MIDTalent proposes a social theme linked to the potential of FabCity to respond to the existing challenges facing cities today as the food waste. To this end, the Fab Lab Barcelona will work in collaboration with the “Aprofitem els Aliments” Platform (PAA) in Barcelona to analyse the proposals to reuse waste and thus promote a recycling culture with a ‘zero waste’ objective.
The MIDTalent is an educational programme promoted by the Barcelona Centre de Disseny. Its objective is to promote entrepreneurship and provide participants with knowledge about methodologies and new tools within the creative sector to encourage their incorporation into the labour market.
