Matthew Gabe is an architect with a special interest in innovative design and analysis techniques. He is currently working at Zaha Hadid Architects, where he works primarily on concept and technical design stages, with an emphasis on computation, advanced design techniques and the resolution of complex geometry. He holds a masters degree in Structural Engineering and Architecture from The University of Sheffield and a masters in Architecture from The Bartlett in London.
He has special interest in the use of timber and his previous work has focused around using structural analysis, computational design tools and material research to develop efficient and sustainable timber structures.
