Due to the great success of the exhibition this summer, “Auto-Màtic” will remain on display until October 7th at Arts Santa Mònica cultural centre in Barcelona

If you happen to be in Barcelona until October 7th, you will have the opportunity to visit one of the cultural highlights of Barcelona’s expositions circuits this summer: “Auto-màtic“. Curated by Edouard Cabay, IAAC’s faculty member and director of OTF applied research programme, the research on display aims to show the limits and potentials of generative drawing, emerging from data through mathematical and mechanical operations; raising questions on automation, reproducibility, and the role of the arbitrary or accidents as sources of creative experimentation.

The research was developed in the framework of Machinic Protocols, a research line of IAAC’s Master in Advanced Architecture.
