The Active Public Space Barcelona workshop kicked off 5th of Septemnrt and ran until the 7th of September at the IAAC training facilities and in the #Superilla of the District of Sant Martí, in Poblenou.
In this framework, and within the implementation of the first superblocks in Barcelona, the APS workshop will set up an interactive installation integrating responsive technologies combined with citizen participation. In the APS installation, residents and visitors will be invited to participate in an urban game to decide the bottom up configuration of the public space: 6 different kind of mobile functional modules will be laid out.
