The lecture Sensing and Sensation will take place on February 27th, 2025, at 7 pm CET, at IAAC Main Hall, Carrer Pujades 102, Poblenou, Barcelona, Spain.
How do technology and identity shape human experience? This lecture will examine how artificial intelligence, digital systems, and sensors influence the way we perceive and interact with the world.
Filippo Rosati and Saúl Baeza will discuss how creative and technological disciplines merge, covering topics such as digital identities, prosthetic design as an exploration of self, and the potential of surveillance technologies in reimagining social and political landscapes.
Filippo Rosati – Founder and Creative Director of Umanesimo Artificiale, working at the intersection of art, science, and technology. His projects explore design, robotics, and biology.
Saúl Baeza – Director of DOES and Co-Director of the Master in Design for Emergent Futures. He is also the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of VISIONS BY Magazine, researching digital and functional identities.
This event is a unique opportunity for IAAC students, alumni, and faculty, as well as anyone interested in the future of digital and material interactions.
