About the Master in Advanced Ecological Buildings & Biocities (MAEBB)

The MAEBB program is an intensive 10-month academic experience focused on designing and constructing ecological buildings and cities to address climate challenges. Over the first six months, students gain hands-on expertise in sustainable material production, energy-efficient systems, and ecological construction techniques. In the final stage, they collaborate to design and build a full-scale ecological structure, applying their knowledge in a real-world setting. The program takes place at Valldaura Labs, a 135-hectare campus in the Collserola forest, where students live and work immersed in nature while utilizing cutting-edge technologies to advance self-sufficient and sustainable architecture.
