Fernando Menis Architect stands as a practice of high-quality architecture, with a strong craft workshop and a deep interest for the reuse of natural and environmental resources. The work of Fernando Menis has been awarded with the Spanish National Architecture and Design Award and recognized on several occasions by the Canary Islands Regional Architecture Award, the FAD and the Spanish Architecture Exhibition Awards. Menis has participated to the Venice Biennale and his projects have been exhibited by MoMA NY, Aedes Berlin and GA Tokyo.
Fernando Menis is a professor at the European University of Canarias and Chairman of the Laboratory for Innovation in Architecture, Design and Advanced Tourism of Tenerife. He participates regularly as a speaker and jury member at Harvard GSD, Columbia University, ESA Paris, TU Berlin and Akbild Vienna.
