Alan Rynne is a Spanish building engineer specialized in the fields of Computational design, digital fabrication, automation and data interoperability. He obtained his degree in building engineering at the UEM (European University of Madrid) in Madrid, Spain and completed a one year master in Parametric Design for Architecture at the UPC (Universitat Politécnica de Catalunya) and has acted as instructor for the master’s program ever since completing it.
Currently working at Speckle, some of the projects he has previously been involved in include a façade optimization framework to reduce costs when designing freeform structures, a communication web app for ‘3d model-centric’ video meetings. Also an Open Source enthusiast, he has a number of different projects hosted on his GitHub page.
