Pol Cirujeda is a computer science researcher and software engineer who has always worn glasses and has never sported brilliant psychomotor skills. Perhaps that’s the reason why he is obsessed with making computers see, understand 3D, and perform an elegant plan to dominate the world in consequence. If the latter is not possible, lowering the burden of repetitive tasks for humans thanks to technology would be great as well.
He holds a Master degree in artificial intelligence and a PhD in computer vision by the UAB and UPF (Barcelona, Spain). He has worked both in academia and the research industry, specializing in 3D medical imaging, before moving into the world of digital construction as a senior software engineer at Scaled Robotics.
