Be a part of the first Barcelona Maker Faire and visit us on June 17 & 18th at Pavelló Italià of Fira Barcelona in Montjuïc. Maker Faire originated in 2006 in the San Francisco Bay Area as a project of the editors of Make: magazine. It is an event suitable for all kinds of audiences and it is a IAAC | FabLab Barcelona, Soko and Sónar iniative with the support of Make magazine, Barcelona City Council and IN(3D)USTRY event.
Barcelona Maker Faire will host more than 200 projects, live demos and a wide range of workshops focused on the creativity, innovation and groundbreaking technologies such as Robotics, Big Data, Augmented Reality, 3D printing, Digital Fabrication, Computer Vision, Internet of Things, Drones and many more. Some of these tech applications and fields are already changing our daily lives, and others will start to do it so in a very short time. Now it is time to make them accessible for everyone!
This is an amazing opportunity to share your passion and energy with the citizens of Barcelona and other makers like you! We invite you to submit your project and to extend this invitation to everyone that has an interesting project to share.
