Within the agenda of the Congress of Architecture organized by the Association of Architects of Catalonia (COAC), the Department of Territorial Planning together with the General Directory of Land and Urban Planning, the Catalan Land Institute INCASÒL and the Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia IAAC, are organizing a conference about the role of the architect of the state.
We would like to invite you to the conference “The role of the State Architext as a driving figure in the transformation of a country”.
The conference would like to propose a debate and a reflection about the state architect through the analysis of this figure in several countries such as Australia, Netherlands and some estates of the United States of America. Given the importance of architecture in the urban design in Catalunya, it is important to consider the possibility of the architect of the state acting as the driving force behind the transformation of a country.
