IAAC is currently looking for a MARKETING & COMMUNICATION MANAGER.

Role Description:
The Marketing and Communication Manager plays a central role in driving strategic initiatives for IAAC and Fab Lab Barcelona brands. This position is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing and communication strategies that enhance institutional visibility, engagement, and brand presence.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Marketing and Communication:
– Develop and implement integrated marketing and communication strategies aligned with IAAC and Fab Lab Barcelona’s strategic objectives.
– Monitor, measure, and optimize communication effectiveness across all institutional activities.

Publications, Newsletters, and Press Relations:
– Lead content creation for websites and social media platforms, ensuring relevance, consistency, and engagement.
– Oversee the production of academic and institutional publications, including newsletters and press releases.
– Manage media relations, maintain press contacts, and coordinate coverage of institutional events, external and internal.

Marketing Campaigns:
– Lead the development, overview implementation and evaluation of marketing campaigns across various channels to promote IAAC and Fab Lab Barcelona’s programs and initiatives.

Social Media Strategy:
– Develop and execute social media strategies, including content calendars, community engagement initiatives, and interaction guidelines with master’s programs.

Event Management:
– Lead the planning and execution of major events, collaborating with internal teams and stakeholders.
– Evaluate event impact and engagement metrics to refine future strategies.

Team Leadership and Collaboration:
– Serve as internal point of contact for Marketing and Communication requests.
– Supervise and coordinate the work of the Communication Assistant and EU Project Communication Assistant.
– Collaborate with internal teams (Design, Admissions, Academic) to align communication efforts with organizational goals.
– Coordinate Paid campaigns with the external service provider.

Qualifications and Skills:
– Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field; professional certifications preferred.
– Proven experience in developing and executing successful marketing and communication strategies, ideally within higher education or creative industries.
– Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Spanish and Catalan is advantageous.
– Proficiency in Content Management Systems (CMS), social media platforms, and digital marketing tools.
– Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and metrics to inform decision-making.
– Creative thinker with a strategic mindset, capable of innovating and implementing new approaches to achieve organizational objectives.
– Proficiency in English and Spanish.

– Salary range of 26,000 – 30,000 euros, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

– Full-time, in-presence position with one day of remote work (40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 10:00 – 19:00).
