In the framework of IAAC Open Thesis Fabrication Programme and Master in Robotics and Advanced Construction, leading researchers, architects, industry partners and start-ups teams from Europe have been invited Wednesday 21st of March to IAAC’s Roundtable titled ‘3D Printing in Architecture’ aimed to discuss the potentials and challenges of the additive manufacturing technologies in this field.
Don’t miss the debate moderated by Alex Dubor and Edouard Cabay (IAAC) and including panelists such as Areti Markopoulou (IAAC), Enrico Dini (DShape), Lapo Naldoni (WASP), Eric Barendse (Studio RAP), Luis Rodolfo Clemente Ortega (Acciona), Iñigo Calderon (Tecnalia), Rena Giesecke (ETH Zürich) and Mahriz Zakeri (Xtree).
The following day Thursday 22nd, IAAC will have the pleasure to inaugurate this year’s OTF prototype, a 5-metres tall 3D printed wall section constructed in IAAC’s Valldaura Campus, exhibiting some of the technology’s potential for new structural and climatic solution in adobe constructions.
