The Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia (IAAC) is pleased to announce the Responsive Cities Symposium 2023. This year’s edition focuses on “Collective Intelligence Design”, within the framework of the Green Skills for Cities (G4C) project, co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union and coordinated by IAAC’s Advanced Architecture Group.
The Symposium will take place in Barcelona from 27th-28th November 2023 at the Design Hub Barcelona and will explore topics related to an emerging collective intelligence paradigm in the processes of city making that empowers the applications of co-creation, following generative processes of both the living and the machine.
As part of the Symposium, IAAC and the Green Skills for Cities Project are launching two calls:

If you are an educator, researcher or practitioner in this field, you are invited to submit original and high quality papers on the following topics:

Submit your Extended Abstract by 5th September 2023!
Successful participants will be notified on the 9th of October and will be asked to submit the full paper by the 31st October 2023.
Call for Projects
This Call is looking for innovative visions for the city of the future that align with the theme of Collective Intelligence Design. The Symposium and Call for Projects is organized around the following topics:
