Eduardo Pacheco is an Architect, graduated from the Tecnológico de Monterrey. Specialized in Sustainable Buildings and Urban Environment by the University of Coimbra’s Energy for Sustainability masters programme. He is currently an EU Projects trainee at IAAC. His professional experience includes architectural design studios and an engineering design company in Monterrey, Mexico.
In recent years he has developed a special interest in affordable housing strategies for the developing world, as well as for solutions for re-naturing the cities. He considers architecture as an ideal platform to improve people’s quality of life. He thinks that architects have a responsibility to provide adequate environments for everyone; places that promote interaction and creativity, but overall, that can be functional and comfortable without compromising the future generations’ well being.
