IAAC opened AI for ALL: Architecture & the Built Environment, an exhibition and public debate

On 16 June 2026, IAAC presented AI for ALL: Architecture & the Built Environment, an exhibition and public debate that set out to demystify artificial intelligence and bring it within reach of everyone. Through six interactive installations, the project invites visitors to understand, take part in and help shape the AI tools that are reshaping how we design, manage and inhabit our cities.

Developed by students of IAAC’s Master in AI for Architecture (MaAI) in collaboration with the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB), and presented as part of Barcelona 2026, World Capital of Architecture, the project translates complex computational concepts such as generative systems, data-driven environments, and algorithmic logic, into six spatial, hands-on installations that visitors can touch, navigate and question first-hand.
