Dimensión Remota
The Dimension Remota (DimRem) project proposes an ecosystem of services and digital solutions to facilitate technical inspections of buildings and infrastructure. It aims to enable the integration of next-generation technologies for automating incidents, reviews, approvals, and collaborative workflow in these inspections. This includes real-time geolocation of the operators conducting the inspections and the equipment being managed. The project also involves integrating incidents into a mobile application with augmented reality and linking them to web environments with BIM and point clouds from asset digitization.

Once operator inspections are automated, unmanned vehicles, such as a Rover, are intended to replicate the route and primary actions performed by the operator. Therefore, for conducting automated remote inspections, a digital platform is combined with the use of mobile devices, sensors, scanners, and rovers. This integration of cyber-physical technologies will entail the use of a digital twin ecosystem for remote and automated inspection of building or infrastructure assets.
