Juan Herreros

Architect, Professor ETSAM & GSAPP (he/him)

Juan Herreros is a PhD Architect and Chair Professor of Architectural Design at the Madrid School of Architecture, as well as a Full Professor at the Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation (GSAPP) at Columbia University in New York. He previously taught at Princeton University from 2004 to 2007 and served as a ‘Diploma Unit Master’ at the Architectural Association from 1998 to 2000. Additionally, he was a ‘Professeur Invité’ at the EPFL in Lausanne and held the Morgenstern Visiting Chair in Architecture at the IIT in Chicago in 2006.

Juan has been a juror for numerous national and international competitions, biennials, and awards. He has also acted as an editorial advisor for specialised media and has served on several expert committees focused on academic, sustainability, and technology programs, including the Material Science Congress at Columbia University.
