IAAC is searching for a creative, motivated Visual Designer to join our Communications Department

Working as part of the Marketing and Communications department, and reporting to the Head of Marketing & Communications, you will be involved in the delivery of cross-channel marketing materials intended for online and offline use.

The Visual Designer will be responsible for IAAC’s brand identity and delivery of digital assets for promotional, educational and other purposes. This person must have creative vision and be capable of generating ideas. The designer should be empathetic, able to work within a large team, displaying initiative and focus.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining and innovating the IAAC brand, including brand guidelines and quality control for both IAAC and the academic offering;
  • Ability to produce relevant visual content for communication proposes in both online and offline channels such as web, social media and printing;
  • Editorial design production for large publications such as Architecture or Urban Planning books;
  • Working closely with the Marketing & Academic Team to create promotional visual content on a weekly basis;
  • Creation of visual and audiovisual material based on educational content such as banners, videos, print publications;
  • Provide graphic resources (creation, retouching and adaptation) for the brand (corporate material, banners, video Ads, etc…);
  • Working as an in-house photographer, cameraperson and video editor;
  • Procurement of print and other promotional materials – owning the relationship with vendors;
  • Support and management in IAAC events;
  • Bringing bright ideas to the table.

What you bring to the table

  • An online design portfolio packed full of inventive UI design + UX innovative thinking;
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Design or similar discipline;
  • 3-5 years of experience as a designer. Agency experience is a plus;
  • Efficient and able to produce work on very tight deadlines;
  • The ability to collaborate with several teams to produce quick results;
  • Highly creative with a real vision for designing;
  • Experienced with filmmaking/film editing;
  • Motivated and great organisation skills;
  • Fluent in written and spoken English;
  • Proficient Computer design skills including Adobe Creative Suite, Premiere, After Effects, In Design.

 

Hours:

Full time position, 40h a week (Monday to Friday).

Salary:

24.000 to 26.000 € annual gross income, according to profile.

Location: 

IAAC campus, c/ Pujades 102 baixos

Language: 

Fluent Spanish and English speaker.

Permit:
Worker should hold a full work permit for Spain.
