Five Master in Advanced Architecture second year (MAA02) Alumni participated in a mini event with the CiD consortium partners during the Knowledge Exchange Workshop in Barcelona.

MAA02 Alumni participate in Mind the Gap event

The Mind the Gap Event focused on sharing with the CiD consortium learnings from entrepreneurial programmes MAA02 Alumni have participated in during their time at IAAC or further developing their research into start-ups. They highlighted the skills that they learnt from IAAC and from their entrepreneurial programmes, as well as skills they believed were missing or were highly important.

Emily Bishop presented her experience in the Urban Shift project, another Erasmus+ Project, and Aleyna Gultekin shared with us how she took the thesis she developed during MAA02 and transformed it into a start-up idea with the help of the beVisioneers programme.

Following their presentations, the Consortium and the Alumni – Emily, Aleyna, Victor Engelhard Suarez, Weihao Yin, Daniel Sorial – engaged in an interactive activity mapping crucial skills and strategies that were important for them in their entrepreneurial journey. The Consortium greatly appreciated the opportunity to hear from the students, as for many CiD will be the first project where a start-up approach to learning will be used. The learnings from this mini event will be used to further develop the educational curricula of the CiD project.
