The Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia (IAAC) presents the forthcoming exhibition POBLENOU FÀBRICA / FABRICA, organized by Fab Lab Barcelona, that aims to highlight the evolution of Poblenou’s productive character over the decades, while also examining its potential to promote a more inclusive, diverse, and circular economy.

The exhibition will feature a diverse range of tangible and intangible aspects of Poblenou’s productive heritage, including photographic records, personal stories, and objects connected to different scales of the territory.

POBLENOU FÀBRICA / FABRICA aims to increase the visibility of Poblenou’s productive sector, inviting manufacturers, artisans, residents, and individuals connected to the neighborhood to share their knowledge and experiences while also receiving recognition.

The exhibition, organized by Fab Lab Barcelona, will take place within the framework of the CENTRINNO and Make Works EU projects, with the collaboration of Innova FP (Department of Education of the Generalitat of Catalonia) and Poblenou Urban District. The Barcelona City Council has also provided support for this project.

The exhibition will be accompanied by a rich program of activities, including fabrication workshops, round tables, guided tours, and an open-air cinema, among others. Discover all the activities.
