The Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia prepares itself to host the first appointment with the 2016 Open Days, inviting you to discover the one of the most advanced European Centres for Education, Research and Fabrication located in Barcelona.
The event will take place on Friday April 22nd., from 16:00 to 20:00 hours, and it is open to students and the general public. Your registration at [email protected] is required in order to attend both or either of the mentioned days.

IaaC is situated in Poblenou one of the most prolific Barcelona metropolitan scenarios; an area in full creative ferment in which old warehouses and factories coexist with modern buildings as the Agbar Tower, the Media-TIC or the Design Hub Barcelona.
IAAC is a centre for Education, with the Master in Advanced Architecture and the Master in City & Technology giving the next generation of architects the space to imagine, test and shape the future of cities, architecture and technology.
IAAC is a center for Research, with Valldaura Labs, a self-sufficient research centre located in the Collserola Metropolitan park, 20 minutes from the centre of Barcelona, where a series of laboratories are implemented for the production and testing of Energy, Food and Things.
IAAC is a center for Fabrication, with the Fab Lab Barcelona, the most advanced digital production laboratory in Southern Europe, a laboratory where you can build almost everything, that recently hosted Fab10, the 10th annual worldwide Fab Lab conference.
IaaC Open Day offers a journey through those facilities and an extensive program of activities exclusive for that day. The IaaC Open Day proposal includes exhibitions, guided tours, lectures and general talks, demos and visits.
IaaC Open Days are open to anyone interested in pursuing their postgraduate studies or to ones who wants to further develop their skills in our institute. Open Days will allow guests to visit our various departments, to explore the learning facilities and the social life of the institutes.
