We are delighted to share a formal announcement regarding a recent milestone at the Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia (IAAC). As of September 1st, 2023, we are proud to officialize the transfer of accreditation for our ‘Life-long Learning Postgraduate Diploma’ programmes. Previously conferred by the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC), this accreditation has now been transitioned to the Universitat de Lleida (UdL).

This transition is of profound significance, aligning IAAC with an institution of exceptional repute. The UdL has gained worldwide recognition for its commitment to academic excellence, earning the 16th position globally for teaching quality in the Times Higher Education’s Impact 2023 ranking. Furthermore, UdL holds the prestigious title of being a Campus of International Excellence, a distinction earned through its participation in the Iberus project, alongside distinguished institutions such as Zaragoza, La Rioja, and the Public University of Navarre.

The core mission of UdL, which revolves around knowledge generation, dissemination, and practical application, resonates deeply with the educational ideals that IAAC values deeply. This affiliation marks a significant step forward in our pursuit of academic distinction, solidifying IAAC’s standing as a leader in pioneering education.
