President of IAAC from 2013 to 2019, Oriol Soler is an entrepreneur in the field of media. Currently President of the “SOM” publishing cooperative (formerly “Grup Cultura 03”), Oriol participated in the creation of the newspaper “Ara”, an editorial project in Catalan, for which he has been CEO and president until June 2012. Oriol is also a member of the governing board of the “Grup Clade” cooperative group. He was founder and first president of the “Escacc Foundation” (Espai Català de Cultura i Comunicació) and promoter of the “Barómetro de la Comunicación y la Cultura Catalana” and the “Atlas of the Future”.
