Chosen as one of the future leaders in Architecture in Chile by the magazine MasDeco, Nicolás Valencia is a writer, editor, and a regular speaker at events and conferences in the discussion and dissemination of architecture and cities through diverse formats for different audiences.
Valencia is currently Editorial Data & Content Manager at ArchDaily, the world’s most visited architecture website, co-founder of REDES IAAC, columnist of Arquitectos al Aire radio show in Argentina, and co-founder of #XFORMAS, a public project dedicated to the visibility and discussion around peripheral architecture practices in Latin America. Between 2019 and 2021 he was part of the XX Chile Architecture Biennial with #XFORMAS project; the II Tbilisi Architecture Biennial alongside ArchDaily’s Content Team with Unequal Cities; and 2021 Venice Biennale’s Korean Pavilion program as part of the roundtable “Sol y Sombra: A Journey up the Orinoco”
Valencia co-founded and led Comunicar Arquitectura (COMA), the first Latin American congress for architects in media, gathering 16 specialists from 9 countries, overpassing 20.000 views in four streamed sessions.
