Hesham is an architect, computational designer, and researcher focusing on computational design and artificial intelligence in the field of architecture and urban development. He had his Master’s degree in Advanced Computation for Architecture & Design in 2021. His research interests focus on digitizing handcrafts using Machine learning and robotic fabrication.
In the past, he has taught many courses and workshops related to computational design and digital fabrication since 2017. He is a part-time teaching assistant at the American University in Cairo, and Ain Shams University. Through international competitions and workshops, he has gained hands-on experience related to architecture, computational design, and urban development. In the past, he worked at multiple design studios on a range of design projects varies from product design, historical documentation, urban development, museums, products, exhibitions, and housing.
