Francisco Villeda

Francisco “Paco” Villeda is a Mexican architect, with more than 14 years of experience in managing international projects, competitions and design, as well as managing teams in complex projects with multiple clients and partners. He has a postgraduate degree in Advanced Architecture from the Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia, and a second postgraduate degree in “Digital Techtonics”, focused on parametric software and rapid prototyping technology.

Paco has worked with architectural firms in Mexico, Spain and Denmark. He has had the opportunity to lecture and teach at other institutes, such as DIS Institute in Copenhagen, the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City and The Royal Danish Academy of Arts and Architecture also in Copenhagen.

His work is featured in several publications, including Europan Catalogs 8 and 9 and New European Urbanity by Nai Editorial, Netherlands. Recently, he started a side project called UseCollective, having received honorable mentions in competitions and having had the opportunity to publish theoretical articles in different means.
