Francesc Bonada is a Senior Artificial Intelligence & Data Scientist researcher at the Smart Management Systems Unit at EURECAT. He holds a bachelor degree in Telecommunications Engineering (‘07) by the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC), where he also became part of the Optical Comunicatons Group staff as a researcher for novel remote optical amplifiers. Currently, He is involved in several European research projects for the application of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Data Science in the Industry 4.0, focusing on manufacturing process control and optimization, real-time quality prediction and knowledge discovery.
