The Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia (IAAC) is pleased to announce that applications are now open for the Academic Year 2024-25. IAAC is a multidisciplinary educational and research center, offering opportunities for students from around the world, with a broad spectrum of educational programs spanning from Advanced Architecture, Urbanism, Artificial Intelligence, Future Cities, and Robotic Construction to Digital Fabrication, Design, and Self-sufficient Buildings.

IAAC offers one and two-year programmes in these topics, with a focus on the possibilities that arise from emergent technologies, and the cultural, economic, environmental and social values that architecture and design can contribute to society. Join IAAC in Barcelona and live the experience of studying in the World Capital of Innovation and Technology, or choose an online Master and be part of its virtual, multicultural and diverse community!

Application Portal and Guide

After registering on the Application Portal, applicants will be given access to a personal page, where submission and payment can be completed at any time, allowing you to save your progress, and continue at a later moment, both for document submission and payment processes.

In addition to that, IAAC is pleased to offer prospective students a comprehensive, step-by-step Application Guide, describing all phases of the Application Process and our selection criteria to help solving any concerns that may arise.

Funding Opportunities and Scholarships

Every year, IAAC provides generous scholarships and financial aid options to its applicants as part of its dedication to assisting individuals interested in pursuing education through its programmes. IAAC is committed to promoting diversity in education, and this year, is pleased to introduce two significant private funds.

The Women in Tech Fund strives to bridge the gender gap in the technology sector, empowering individuals who identify as women to pursue tech-related fields, while the Colette Fund offers support to the emerging generation of architects from the African region specialising in additive manufacturing with natural materials.
