What will be presented?
Students from the Master in Robotics and Advanced Construction will present the results of a studio that redefines how we build—combining computational design, robotics, and natural materials.
This year, each team was challenged to develop a building system for IAAC’s future facility. The projects explore how digital tools can transform local, discarded or raw materials into expressive structural components.
The final presentations will include:
-
stone and timber hybrid systems fabricated through multi-agent workflows,
-
digitally carved structural elements made from discarded logs,
-
robotic weaving of willow branches with earth for lightweight assemblies,
-
and machine-bent rebar transformed into visible, sculptural frameworks.
These prototypes reflect a hands-on, high-tech approach to regenerative architecture—where innovation emerges from the intersection of craft, code and material intelligence.
