What will be presented?
Students from the Master in Advanced Urban Planning and Data Analytics Year 1 will present their final projects: mobility strategies designed through a justice-oriented, intersectional lens.
Through four diverse case studies—Quito, Melbourne, Rundu and Jakarta—students have investigated how urban mobility systems embed systemic inequalities, particularly affecting women and other underrepresented groups.
Combining spatial analysis, participatory mapping and computational tools, each project:

reveals patterns of exclusion in public transport and urban infrastructure,

proposes inclusive, data-informed planning strategies,
-
and envisions responsive urban futures shaped by equity and representation.
These final presentations highlight how data can serve not only efficiency, but also justice.
