From 21st to 23rd June, 2016 In(3D)ustry – From Needs to Solutions, the event co-organised by IAAC Fab City Research Laboratory and Fira Barcelona reviewed the current state and future of Additive and Advanced Manufacturing and showcased the latest technologies and innovation on this field. There, Tomás Díez, Co-organizer of the event & Fab City Research Lab director, had the opportunity to explain the project to the President of the Generalitat Carles Puigdemont.

The IAAC and the Fab Lab Barcelona organized several activities. Now is a good time to make a visual overview of all of them.

Imprimida was a 8 day workshop where experts from the field of digital fabrication and computational design explored the limits of art production in our times. IAAC head of visiting programs Aldo Sollazzo co-organized this workshop together with Sonar+D and IN(3D)USTRY.

Make it as a Pro was celebrated on June 21st – 10am to 12pm. It was curated by Wevolver and IAAC Fab City Research Laboratory, and was a perfect connection between creators that nowadays produce using advanced manufacturing technologies and industry developers.
