This week IAAC welcomed the 140 new students from 35 different countries for this year’s Master in Advanced Architecture (MAA), Master in City & Technology (MaCT) and Master in Advanced Interaction (MAI).

India, Iran, Turkey, Lebanon, Spain, China, Canada, America, Italy, Venezuela, Russia, Grecia, Lithuania, Taiwan and Georgia are among the countries with more students enrolled for this year.

IAAC Head of studies Mathilde Marengo gave some words of welcome, then presenting the team of coordinators: Marco Ingrassia (Coordinator MAA01), Maria Kuptsova (Coordinator MAA02), Alex Mademo (Coordinator MaCT) and Valentina Toscano (Coordinator MAI).

After this brief introduction on behalf of the team, the new students took the stage to present themselves, sharing their hopes and dreams for their stay at IAAC!

The 30 students doing MAA02 this year were also at the welcome meeting, giving the students their advices for this forthcoming year.

IAAC Academic Director Areti Markopoulou closed the gathering, giving her welcome talk about the use of technology in establishing new responsive inhabitation models.
