IAAC Auto-màtic

Auto-màtic Exhibition Opening

On Friday 29th of June at 19:00 we are glad to invite you to the opening of Auto-màtic, an exhibition curated by IAAC Senior Faculty Edouard Cabay which will be displayed at the Arts Santa Mònica centre of Barcelona until September 2nd.

The exhibition addresses the limits and potentials of generative drawing, emerging from data through mathematical and mechanical operations; raising questions on automation, reproducibility, and the role of the arbitrary or accidents as sources of creative experimentation.

The research was developed in the framework of Machinic Protocols, the research line directed by Edouard Cabay, in the Master in Advanced Architecture.
