On the occasion of Danish architect Bjarke Ingels visit to IAAC Campus ValldauraLabs for the official launch of the Master in Advanced Ecological Buildings (MAEB), the founder of IAAC Vicente Guallart interviewed and discussed with him about the future of architecture and sustainable and self-sufficient construction.

The Master in Advanced Ecological Buildings is a 12-month fully immersive academic programme that has an emphasis on using a practice-orientated approach to train professionals with an expertise in the design and construction of ecological buildings. This education programme takes place at Valldaura Self-sufficient Labs which is IAAC campus in Collserola Natural Park and at the same time a prestigious research centre with the mission to empower students with a skill set in the field of sustainable architecture.

In the following interview Bjarke Ingels describes Valldauralabs as “the perfect place to become an expert in ecological buildings and self-sufficient habitats”. Don’t miss the whole talk between two great architects.
