Introduction

Currently there is an urgency in the building industry about the BIM methodology, but is need or is powerful Autodesk marketing way?

In 2020 Spain should be BIM, said College of Architects of Catalonia, but to understand this new methodology is necessary to think beyond the drawing, the lines are now databases entities with many features and parameters.

Brief

This workshop will explore two ways, the possibilities of parametric design with BIM methodology in Revit (Autodesk software) and the concepts basic interoperability with other softwares most used (Rhinoceros and Grasshopper, McNeel software)

We will use a real case of architecture, will begin importing files Autocad or other CAD softwares, will be only one exercise develop it step by step, the parameters and variables of each one the elements will be explain.

You will be able to parametrize basic architectural projects in Revit, and understanding the world BIM, with capacity to have your own opinion on the importance of BIM.
