Augmented and Virtual Reality applications have been envisioned for decades. With the recent commoditization of these technologies, through the development of devices such as Occulus and Microsoft Hololens, AR and VR is expected to swarm the world in the coming years.
What this will bring to architecture, engineering, sciences and business is still not perceivable. The ideas about the future are already mind blowing and designers, engineers and scientists are already preparing themselves for the future.
The AR/VR applications workshop is an introductory course that will enable its participants, with or without any previous experience, to develop virtual and augmented reality applications. The workshop will start from the very basic concepts of the Unity3D interface and will cover every aspect of a basic AR/VR application development, so that the participants can leave and be ready to develop their own AR/VR apps.
The workshop requires no previous knowledge of Unity3D or any other modelling software, however it would be beneficial for participants to bring their own designs in the virtual and augmented world.
